| Job Description |
Due to substantial growth my client requires an experienced and dynamic Financial Controller to join a Finance Team of circa 10 staff. This role requires someone with drive, the ability to “hit the ground running”, and experience in leading and mentoring small teams.
You will be responsible for all reporting and accounting as per regulatory and legal requirements as well as internal management accounting, financial forecasting and cash flow management.
Duties include but not limited to:
• Preparation of monthly financial and management accounts to provide management information to the Board and satisfy bank reporting requirements.
• Provision of management information used to assist strategic business decision making and allow other management team members to understand financial elements of the business.
• Credit control management
• Preparation of year end financial statements and supporting schedules in line with internal and external audit requirements
• Preparation of financial forecasts and budgets to provide Board and bank with clear expectations for period ahead and to drive cash flow projections and cash planning.
• Manage payroll function to ensure that all employees are correctly paid in line with agreed timescales and that all payroll recording complies with legislative requirements.
• Responsible for ensuring that all Balance Sheet control accounts are fully reconciled in line with Company policies and procedures.
• Supervision and management of finance team to ensure that all finance roles within the business are being completed efficiently and within agreed procedures and timescales. Ensure the training needs and expectations of same staff are met.
Ideally looking for Fully or Part Qualified candidates with strong industry experience. Any exposure to the Engineering or Construction industries will be a significant advantage.
Salary dependent on experience, £32k - £38k.
