My client is one of the largest global providers of products and services that span the drilling, evaluation, completion, production and intervention cycles of oil & natural gas wells. They are actively recruiting for a Statutory Reporting Accountant to provide maternity cover for approximately 1 year. The role will involve the preparation of annual statutory accounts and ensuring that they are filed at Companies House within filing deadlines. Liaising with external auditors and providing relevant analysis to the Tax Accountants. The successful candidate will have previous experience with a Chartered Accountancy Firm and have experience of auditing, and exposure to statutory accounting rather than management accounting.
ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Preparation of statutory accounts and audit experience.
Sound technical accounting skills.
Awareness of the differences in reporting requirements under UK v US GAAP.
Good Excel and general computer skills.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Qualified Accountant with a recognised accounting body.
