Project Engineer / Project Manager – Commercial Sales & Business Development – Turbines / Compressors / Rotating Equipment Industry – Cambridgeshire - £30-50K + Bfts.
Profile: World leading Engineering company specialising in Turbine Machinery, Compressor Systems and High Speed Rotating Machinery, currently have a requirement top recruit for a Project Engineer or Project Manager with a strong Commercial Sales & Business Development background, to manage client interface throughout the project lifecycle, from identifying and winning new business through to commercial proposals, pricing, project cash flow analysis, negotiating contractual terms and establishing working plans for the different phases of the project.
This is an involving and challenging role, mixing your commercial and technical project management skills with sales ability, in a position involving frequent domestic and international travel.
The Role: You will be responsible for managing all client focused activities during and throughout the business development phase of each new project, identifying the key influencers and decision makers within each prospective client, and acting as a project champion, leading all aspects of business development and project development from enquiry through to order.
You will manage client interface throughout the project lifecycle, from identifying and winning new business through to commercial proposals, preparing pricing recommendations, value propositions, project cash flow analysis, negotiating contractual terms and establishing working plans for the different phases of the project. This will also involve delivering technical and commercial presentations for management, and ensuring that all legal and contractual administration is correct, budgets and finance agreements are in place, and that the project can go ahead correctly.
Requirements (You must answer most or all of the following):
•10 Years + of Sales & Business Development within the Engineering sector.
•Experience within Turbine, Compressor or High Speed Rotating / reciprocating Machinery.
•Be qualified in an Engineering discipline – Ideally to Degree level, or with excellent practical experience.
•Be able to travel domestically and internationally, sometimes at short notice (Must have valid UK / EU Passport and Full Driving License).

Basic salary will be negotiable depending upon your skills and experience, but is expected to be within £30-50K per annum – and perhaps up to £60K for the perfect candidate, plus Benefits Package.
