My client is the UK's largest listed water company; they own, operate and maintain utility assets, including water, wastewater, electricity and gas. They are a FTSE 100 company with a turnover of £2 billion and are the UK's market leader in utility outsourcing.
They are now looking to appoint a Technical Manager who will report to the Head of Engineering to work within this new business area for the market leading energy and Utilities Company. You will lead technical input for proposal and bid opportunities within the municipal waste market. Working within a multi-disciplinary project team you will forge strong working relationships both internally and externally, to achieve new business wins.
The successful candidate must have relevant experience either consultancy with local authority or as a contractor. You will be a member of the chartered institute of Waste Management or equivalent. You will be degree qualified, a chartered engineer or a member of CIWM and posses relevant consultancy experience.
Salary is £40,000 - £55,000 dependant on experience, up to 20% bonus, £5,000 car allowance and private health care.
