My client a leading Oil and Gas operator are looking to recruit a Telecom’s Programme Manager. This is a contract position that will be for an initial 6 months. The role will be based in Manchester.
This role will involve the management of all Telecoms related projects within a specific business unit. The main responsibilities of this role will include:
- Resource planning, management and deployment.
- Assignment of technical project leads from a dedicated pool of resources
- Liaise and work with other Program Managers from various business units
- Produce manpower requirements and skills forecast inline with known business demands
- Ensure comprehensive project, quality and risk plans are prepared and maintained
PMP or Prince accreditation would be highly advantageous for this role.
This role will require a candidate with excellent communication skills (both verbal and written) as there will be a high degree of interaction with various stakeholders
