Our Glasgow-based client has a current requirement for a Business Performance Analyst. You will be part of a team that delivers a comprehensive reporting service comprising key Overall Performance Assessment, Operational and Regulatory reporting.
The role primarily involves the development and ongoing maintenance of corporate reports using Business Objects. You will work closely across a wide stakeholder base including managers & team leaders to ensure that the reports you develop are built to specification. You will combine your report building expertise with your knowledge of the business area to achieve user acceptance testing and report sign-off. As an experienced report developer you will be comfortable working with large data sets within data-marts and universes. You will raise necessary change requests with respect to systems, data-marts, universes etc for resolution by the IT department. From time to time you will be involved in supporting road shows, articles for the intranet site, preparing presentations and other communication material.
This is a great opportunity to develop skills and knowledge within the Business Reporting Team and build expertise in all the non- financial corporate IT systems.
The skills you should ideally possess are:
• Previous experience of Building Reports using Business Objects
• Skilled in the use of Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook
• Highly developed organisational skills.
• Good communications skills
