Service Desk Analyst - 30 hours per week covering a varied shift pattern between the hours of 7.30AM-20.00PM. The 30 hours can be taken over four days rather than five.
Professional Services company actively recruiting for part time Service Desk Analysts to join their busy IT Service Desk in Glasgow. The successful candidates will in conjunction with other members of the Operations Team, be re responsible for providing a single point of contact for all Computing and Telephony services for all of the company's staff based across various locations in the UK. Specific responsibilities will include performing 1st line telephone and e-mail support including analysis, diagnosis and resolution of desktop, laptop, printer and telephone problems, and where possible recommend and implement corrective solutions.
ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
At least 1 years experience providing 1st line telephone based support role in a fast paced environment.
Broad technical knowledge on a wide range of products. In-depth knowledge of Windows operating systems, MS Office and Lotus Notes.
Successful educational background + holding or working towards MCP, MCDST or MCSE
DESIRABLE EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Experience of working in a professional services or financial environment.
Experience of supporting users in a 2nd or 3rd line capacity.
These roles are 6-9 month Fixed Term Contracts.
