This is a great opportunity to join a highly successful, growing technology/analytical data services company operating within the financial services sector. The company has three offices based in London, Edinburgh and New York. They offer a stimulating work environment, attractive salaries and an excellent benefits package. The company are actively recruiting for 4 Content / Data Analysts who will be based in the prestigious Edinburgh office.
SUMMARY OF THE ROLE
Carry out the day to day processing of all contributed content.
Carry out analysis and quality control processes to ensure data integrity.
Manage and implement data corrections on a project basis.
Manage delivery of content directly with contributors.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Content Production: Processing of contributed content from clients and third parties. Content verification and analysis to ensure accuracy and integrity. Production and quality assurance of risk reports. Assist in the implementation of new clients to the company's content universe. Management and processing of third party related content and processes that affect contributed content.
Content Quality Control: Adhere to existing processes that support accuracy and integrity of the content. Proactively review existing quality control processes to improve accuracy and integrity of content. Manage contributed content in a diligent and timely manner to ensure content quality.
Content Corrections & Enhancements: Prioritise and implement data correction projects. Manage client queries in an efficient and timely manner for issues related to the contributed content accuracy, until resolution. Escalate issues in a timely manner and ensure follow up and resolution.
Content Process Development & Support: Manage test production environment for the purposes of testing existing processing of content prior to every software deploy. Be an active stakeholder in ensuring processes are reviewed and suggest improvements. Manage and delivery projects when required to scope and in agreed time frame.
Content Expertise: Ensure up to date training on all existing and new process changes or additions that impact production and quality of content. Build expertise relating to content. Expertise in analysing content in order to make accurate and informed judgements when validating anomalies or escalating issues. Provide resources to assist with Content testing of data in new products.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Previous experience of content / data analysis.
Experience working with financial data products and services preferable.
Experience and knowledge working with Microsoft Excel advantageous.
Experience with VBA and SQL advantageous.
Knowledge and experience in financial information services industry advantageous.
SKILLS REQUIRED

Reliability/Ownership: Ability to follow up on issues in a timely manner, identify when escalation is required and do so appropriately and in a timely manner. Can be trusted with critical tasks.
