| Job Description |
This is a great opportunity for graduates to intermediate+ level developers to join a leading provider of advanced online financial applications, e.g. financial planning, trading and reporting. Our client has a very impressive portfolio of financial services clients and is growing at a rapid rate.
Primary Accountabilities
Analysis: Collaborate with analysts, clients and other users to produce initial requirements.
Design: Work with other developers to produce technical designs.
Development: Implement new functionality in line with the requirements and designs.
Web design: Design and create web pages following usability, security and design guidelines.
Testing: Write automated tests and assist the test analysts with creating test packs.
Maintenance: Support new functionality during testing and in production.
Research: Investigate new techniques and technologies that may be useful to the product and the company.
Other tasks: Undertake any other projects/ tasks as may reasonably be required to facilitate the smooth operation of the company.
The roles call for all‐rounders who design databases, write business logic and create web pages.
Required Skills:
Degree qualified 2:1 or above or equivalent.
Experience with Microsoft .net development products, including C#, VB.NET and SQL Server, beneficial but not essential.
Experience with web development beneficial but not essential.
Willing to travel and relocate to support new business initiatives.
Confident in dealing with clients, delivery‐focused, independent / self directing.
