| Job Description |
My Banking Client is looking for Senior Analyst to work within their Wealth and International Division. The main role of the successful Applicant will be to lead and manage the Data Access Improvement plan in the Division through to delivery and assist in information security activity where required.
Principle Accountabilities of this role include:
• Lead the delivery of W&I activity in the Data Access Improvement (DAI) programme Logical Access Control and Data Transfer workstreams to time and quality
• Support Business Units to achieve
• Provide quality MI and reporting to the programme.
• Attend and contribute to relevant DAI programme forums and meetings
• Identify and escalate to Information Security management, DAI programme and key business stakeholders any potential security vulnerabilities and issues, and lead corrective action as appropriate.
• Support the development and delivery of cost effective information security and risk management.
• Provide support to information security initiatives as and when required
• Assist in the creation of management information for the Information Security Steering Group
• Deputise for the Information Security Manager at committees, meetings or forums.
Knowledge/Experience/Skills Required:
The candidate should be an enthusiastic and driven individual to assist with ensuring the protection of information within the division. Specifically, they should be able to demonstrate:
• Sound knowledge and experience of information security principles, including regulatory, legislative and industry practices, gained through practical experience and professional qualification(s).
• A track record in analysing and articulating security issues and associated risks, making recommendations, influencing outcomes, decision making and ensuring successful delivery to cost and quality.
• Good people management and influencing skills.
• Ability to influence stakeholders at all levels, comfortable with internal customer facing roles
• Excellent business knowledge
• Ability and confidence to challenge senior stakeholders when and where appropriate.
• Self-motivated, self-sufficient and flexible approach, able to work on their own and not needing micro-management.
• Excellent written / verbal communication and organisational skills.
• Information Security Analyst with experience of Logical Access Controls is absolutely essential for this Position, if Candidates do not have this experience they won't be considered.
