My client an Oil & Gas operator are looking for a Graduate Analyst/Developer to join their organisation.
This is a permanent position and will be based in London.
The main responsibility of this role will be to provide IS development services and application support to the users within the Marketing division.
Some of the main duties of this role will include:
- Support a portfolio of applications across the division
- Develop new applications in VB, VBA and database design in SQL 2005. This will include performance tuning of databases
- Ensure all application documentation is fully maintained
- Provide IS application support to the Marketing division
On a technical level the skills required for this role include:
- Knowledge of VB and VBA
- Knowledge of SQL Server 2005 including database design and performance tuning
To be considered for this role it is essential to have a minimum of a 2:1 degree in Computer Science or a very similar degree.
This role also required a candidate with 1st class problem solving abilities and excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)
