This is a great opportunity to join a highly successful, rapidly expanding company that provides online financial applications to an impressive portfolio of clients. My client is looking for a Lead Business Analyst based in central Edinburgh.
Located within the Product Development Division, with the opportunity of secondments to other projects. The roles have the responsibility for the analysis and enhancement of the company's distribution platform capabilities. This will include analysis of internal business requirements with clients to determine any new business requirements, and with IT developers to ensure that any development work meets specifications. It will also involve maintaining relationships with clients, product providers, counter parties and regulators to ensure a superior level of service.
PRIMARY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Communicate with staff to discuss business issues of a wider and/or cross divisional nature.
Ensure new business developments adhere to procedural & regulatory compliance requirements.
Discuss, understand and document client and/or internal business requirements with clients and internal staff to direct software and/or business process development.
Work with developers, analysts and managers to design, document and present the proposition.
Works with developers, analysts and managers to deliver the agreed proposition.
Work with developers, analysts and managers during the development phase to ensure business requirements are met and that requirements and specification documents are kept up to date.
Proactively manage changes to requirements.
Work with developers, analysts and testers to test the software and business processes.
Manage testing carried out by clients.
Work with developers, analysts, managers and clients to implement the software/business process, deliver the proposition and support once implemented.
EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
Degree qualified 2:1 or above or equivalent.
Strong BA experience within financial markets and products.
Confident, self directing and able to take initiative /client and delivery focused.
Superior analytical thinking.
Intermediate computer skills.
Highly developed team, written and oral communication skills.
