Senior Technical Lead/Project Manager – Edinburgh - £43-£54K – Permanent – Cisco Specialist

My client one of the UK's largest financial services organisations has a rare opportunity for a Technical Project Manager to join their Network Management IT Operations. The role will report to the Data Network Service Manager. The primary aspect of this role is to provide delivery resource to Network Management Projects.
The Role:
•Being a Senior Technical Lead for NM Networks projects, assisting and influencing designs to conform to current Group Standards and/or industry best practice design.
•Producing specialist designs for NM high profile, high complexity and high critically projects.
•Analysis of major network outages or service issues, to identify the causes and any potential design issues.
•Submission of Service Improvement Plans to resolve any known service issues or inefficiencies.
Skills/Experience:
•Substantial experience of Data Networking, both in a design and support environment.
•Comprehensive understanding of Cisco hardware and it's capabilities.
•Successful track record in a large (20,000+ user) Global, Financial, Enterprise network.
•Proven successful delivery of high-quality, cost-effective infrastructure services in a complex, high-availability environment
•Proven ability to plan and execute complex workload in a pressurised, dynamic environment on time and to budget
•Holding or be equivalent to and working towards a Cisco Certified Internet work Expert (CCIE) qualification.
