1st line Service Desk Operator – Wetherby – Permanent - £18K
My client, an IT services company require a 1st line support technician to join the team at their head office near Wetherby. The successful candidate will be on the phone all day, so good telephone skills are essential; many of the calls will be customers reporting highly technical issues and although you will not be expected to solve them all the role will involve solving customer’s basic IT issues. If you can’t resolve them you will be expected to record the issues accurately and pass them on.
Essential
- Demonstrable experience of working in a customer service environment
- Computer literate / Strong IT problem solving skills
- Very strong Microsoft Office experience
- Awareness of IT terminology (Test will be taken at recruitment stage)
- ITIL awareness
- Demonstrable experience of working in an IT helpdesk environment
- Excellent telephone manner
- Accuracy with a keen attention to detail
- Case logging and handling in accordance with strict SLA’s
-Already lives with 45 minutes of Wetherby, have your own car and full UK Work Visa.
