Business Analyst URGENTLY required for a 3 month+ contract – London based – Please note that there may also be a need to be available during peak activity (evening and weekends), and this position may also require occasional travel as and when needed.
Business Sector Online Betting – experience within this sector is MANDATORY – applications received without this Business Sector experience will not be considered at this time.
Duties:
Conduct interviews and gather requirements to produce, detailed requirement definitions and functional specifications as necessary.
Assist with the production of business cases and technical specifications.
Create, maintain and communicate work estimates as part of project planning.
Coordinate and participate in user acceptance testing activity.
Create and maintain documentation that serves as a knowledge base on products, processes, procedures and document templates
Person Specific:
CRB Cleared
Hands on experience working as a primary Business Analyst on one or more significant project (for the entire software delivery lifecycle), clearly showing business achievements to date.
Experience within a B2C, retail banking or consultancy environment would be beneficial.
Experience working within various software delivery methodologies, especially Agile & Iterative.
Experience working with both internal and external development resources.
Ability to rationalize business requirements with technical capabilities and constraints.
Degree in technical, scientific or business curriculum.
Pro-active within the role, creative thinker, solutions-oriented and with strong analytical skills.
