This is a great opportunity to join a highly successful, rapidly expanding company that provides online financial applications to an impressive portfolio of clients.
This role is located within the product development department, and has responsibilities for the development and maintenance of the company’s management information capability.
The role has responsibility for the development, maintenance and promotion of the Informatica ETL & Business Objects reporting capability and would be a main point of contact for project teams requiring business objects support. This includes proactively working with the project teams to analyse business requirements relating to management information and assist these teams to turn these requirements into Business Objects reports.
This role is primarily technical in nature and is focused on providing a long term solution so that internal and external users can create and maintain their own management information reports. The successful candidate will be capable of promoting the MI capability within the business and providing training and advice to teams implementing MI and to users.
Primary Accountabilities
Informatica ETL development and maintenance
Business Objects universe management
Business Objects administration
Analysis & migration of existing Excel reports from MS Excel
Training/coaching for the MI Developers
Required Skills - Essential
4 + years related development experience
Informatica specialist
Experience of Business Objects (post 6.5)
Experience in universe design
Creation of reports in Business Objects
Data modelling
