| Job Description |
Senior level actuate consultant required either on a contract or permanent basis for nasdaq listed software house. As a consultant you will form part of an integral team implementing my clients solutions across Europe.
Responsibilities:
Define reporting system architecture
Set up and tune reporting environments
Conduct end user interviews and gather reporting requirements
Develop design specifications for reporting
Conduct integration testing and knowledge transfer to clients through concise documentation and mentoring
Customize ETL mappings and procedures
Qualifications:
At least 3 years experience using Actuate to write quality reports
Hands-on experience in setting up reporting environments using Web server configurations such as: WebLogic or Websphere, LDAP, and Active Directory
Extensive experience in developing Oracle stored procedures and SQL scripts
Experience working with business users in defining reporting requirements
Good written, verbal, interpersonal communications skills are required.
Knowledge of Visual Basic, Java, XML/HTML
Experience with data warehousing/data marts
User level knowledge of UNIX and NT.
Willing to travel between 80-100%
