My client a leading Oil & Gas operator are looking to recruit a SAP Finance Systems Analyst. This is a contract role and will be for an initial 12 month period. The position will be based in West London.
The main duty of this role will be to provide Finance SAP R/3 support to the entire business unit.
Other duties involved in this role will include:
- Analyse user requirements and specify enhancement and developments
- Document issues and enquires
- Deal with helpdesk queries and troubleshoot issues
- Investigate and resolve support issues and problems
- Run specific month end processes and manage error reports
- Test new functionality
Knowledge of the following SAP modules is required for this position:
- Planning & Budgeting (IM, PS & CO modules)
- General Ledger (including Payroll and Journal Upload)
- Joint Venture Accounting
- Asset Accounting
- Accounts Receivable
- Financial Monet-End, Quarter-End & Year-End
- Audit (External, Internal, Joint Venture and SOX)
To be considered for this role it is essential to have experience in the following areas:
- Strong accounting background
- Strong knowledge of Upstream Oil & Gas accounting procedures
- Proven experience implementing or supporting SAP R/3 within an Oil & Gas environment
- Understanding of SAP IM, PS & JV
To be considered for this role it is essential to have excellent communication skills (both verbal and written). 1st class analytical and problem solving skills are also required.
