| Job Description |
Based in Leeds a Project Manager is required on a contract basis to manage and deliver business change initiatives by driving the change process in liaison with the business and stakeholders. Candidates must possess a thorough knowledge of change management and governance practices; proven track record in change management and finance work; knowledge of the financial services market, general insurance business; understanding of financial implications of changes to systems and processes; formal project management accreditation. You would be responsible for a £2M development budget for the delivery, cost/time control, risk management/issue resolution and team management for up to 2 projects or 10 workstreams running in parallel. Candidates will need to demonstrate experience of project planning techniques and MS Project; previous experience of working on business change projects, managing a work stream within a project; tenacious ability to drive change; knowledge and understanding of general insurance financial reporting systems; knowledge of release management practices. Predominantly based in Leeds, some occasional travel will be required.
